Cheery, fun, and bright. Great family room.
Other side of the above room. The Moroccan side table with the inside hit of yellow is great.
This room and the above one remind me of each other. In a great way.
I love everything here, especially that glass dome (what are those called again?) and that beautiful peek of artwork
I will never grow sick of the pretty girly stuff mixed with rough manly things. Chandy + brick + well-worn table and chairs = awesome. Not awesome? That stupid pillar with the ugly urn.
beeeeeautiful artwork, I'm dying over that chair, that shade of blue is gorgeous, and I love the use of National Geographics for a pop of color.
Amber Interiors can literally do no wrong in my book. Love the coordinating but not matching wedding blankets.
This is one of my all-time favorite girly retreats. That shade of blue is killer and I love the striped Louis chairs and pop of pink.
Another cheerful, fun family room. This look would easily be recreated--I recognize the rug and frame as IKEA.
Love the whole thing, but especially the umbrella holder. It never hurts to class up a plain boring functional item with a little trim and high-impact paint!
There's a whole lotta crazy going on here and somehow it works.
GREEN. VELVET. SOFA. Be mine?
Love love love the brass accents on these IKEA cabinets. It looks custom and expensive!
Really simple, but textural. This room from a lovely Apartment Therapy house tour is how I'd do my room if I did neutrals in my own home.
There's something so beautiful and sculptural about these Roost candlesticks, no?
This is a great example of a really simple room that still maintains a lot of personality. And when you're sick of this look, you can swap out the curtains and accent pillow and have a whole new room!
Lavender and yellow gets me every time. I think it looks so chic and yet approachable and cheery. Kinda explains why I post...
THIS photo every other post, huh?
Awesome ottoman, could be an easy DIY actually. Legs and plywood from Home Deport, batting and fabric from Joanne's and BOOM. Chic coffee table/ottoman. the rest of the room is great too, although I'd use different pillows than those flowered ones. Look a little granny to me.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, matches here, but I still love it and think it looks great.
I like that this is still a functional room, even though it's clearly a nursery. I'm a fan of making a nursery look just as good as the rest of your house, and not doing cliche baby shit all over
Good lord is there anything I don't want to steal from this room? Answer: Yes. That Maskros light, which I think looks cheap and everyone knows it's IKEA so it brings the whole rest of the room down. BUT I
would kill for that amethyst lamp, and the coffee able and sofa wouldn't make me mad to own either.
Great ethos, and you know I can't resist a metal Tolix chair with a farmhouse table. Yay Apartment Therapy for not really providing any new ideas but still giving me pretty things to look at, haha
Cool art, lamp, and stools.
Cute little nook, and good use of what could've been an awkward space.
I want a garage door-sized opening to my lawn in my bedroom. Love the mix of prints too. That's a trick I have yet to master.
Just....goodness. Beautiful duvet.
I wanna live here. And curl up in that chair on rainy nights with a good book.
This purple color is lovely and I love the simple black/white frames with the intricately carved console. I wouldn't have thought to do that.
Daybed. Goooooooood. Lucky little brat! haha
Stripes + suzani = amazing
Dream kitchen? Yes. Love the beautiful wood tone and the campaign pulls (which, incidentally are pretty expensive, I just tried sourcing some for a dresser I'm revamping. Any suggestions on a good cheap source for hardware?)
If i were the type to go all minimalist, this is how I'd interpret the look. Great repetition of the green color in key places.
I literally post every single image of Rita Konig's apartment I can find. Because I'm obsessed with it. Serious love for those magenta chairs.
Nate Burkus designed this space for his sister. Lucky bitch. Love the repetition of gold bands throughout, and the palette is very chic. Also, it could be easily switched up if you got sick of all the neutrals. Also, I want both the coffee and side tables. Also, I want some gold sequin bands to hold my curtains back. Mmmmmm.
Other side of the room. Weird choice with the dresser/tv stand but I'll overlook it because that chaise is fantastic. Do you say is chase or chaiiiizzz?
Things I love: butcherblock top, those drawer pulls, and limited number of upper cabinets.
I want a little elephant side table. And again the distressed wood/modern element (tray) thing does my heart good.
I think this green stain is fabulous.
So? Did you make it to the end of the world's longest post? Good for you. I'll post more goodness tomorrow as a reward ;)
